About Us

Founded in 1973 by Mr. George P. Mitchell, Interfaith of The Woodlands was created to connect new residents to The Woodlands, while also serving as the spiritual home for the new community.  Integral in planting houses of worship during its early years, today Interfaith is The Woodlands’ hometown non-profit, serving neighbors in crisis from our food pantry, providing financial assistance to help with rent, mortgage, utilities, and connecting clients to a variety of wrap-around services promoting self-sufficiency.  All proceeds from the Gala support Interfaith’s community programs and services.  Interfaith of The Woodlands is a registered 501-c3 organization with Tax ID# 74-1804123.
